Power adapter for D-Link DIR-825

This ABLEGRID unit replaces the original mains supply for the D-Link DIR-825 wireless router. It delivers a regulated 12 V DC output at 2 A through a 3.5 mm by 1.35 mm barrel connector. The adapter accepts a universal AC input from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz.

Critical specification: 3.5 mm × 1.35 mm barrel tip

The connector size is the single detail that decides fit. Only order if the router requires exactly a 3.5 mm outer diameter and 1.35 mm inner diameter tip with centre-positive polarity. A mismatched tip will prevent connection or risk damage to the device.

Sustained-load behaviour

Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits activate during prolonged operation to keep output stable. The switching design maintains regulation across the full 100-240 V AC range without drift. Keep the unit in a ventilated space during continuous use to allow heat dissipation.
