ABLEGRID 12V 2A Power Adapter

This ABLEGRID 12V 2A adapter replaces a lost or faulty mains supply for Cisco Small Business Gigabit Dual WAN VPN Router series devices. It accepts AC 100-240V input at 50-60Hz for worldwide use. The DC output uses a barrel tip connector. Over voltage and over heat protection are built in.

Replaces Original Router Power Supply

The unit serves as a non-OEM replacement when the factory brick is missing or damaged. Compatibility is stated at 429% with the original specification. The jump is worth it when the original adapter fails or a spare is needed for a second site. Verify the DC output voltage and barrel tip size match before ordering.

For Cisco Small Business Router Owners

This suits administrators who need a direct replacement charger for the listed Cisco router series. It is not for buyers whose equipment requires a different voltage, current rating or connector type. Users needing a UPS battery backup function should look at a dedicated uninterruptible power supply instead.

Questions about this item

What barrel-tip size does the ABLEGRID 12 V 2 A adapter use for the Cisco Small Business Gigabit Dual WAN VPN router?

The adapter ships with a barrel tip; verify the tip diameter and polarity match the router's DC jack before connecting.

How do I install the adapter correctly, and what step do buyers often miss?

Plug the AC cord into a 100–240 V 50–60 Hz outlet, then insert the barrel tip fully into the router's power port; the missed step is confirming the tip seats completely.

What maintenance will this power adapter need over time?

Keep the unit in a ventilated, low-humidity area and do not place it on soft surfaces; no user-serviceable parts are inside.
