Replacement AC adapter for HiTRON HEG42-120300-7

The ABLEGRID 12V 3A 36W AC DC adapter replaces the original HiTRON HEG42-120300-7 switching mode power supply. It delivers 12V DC output at 3A for a total of 36W. The unit accepts worldwide AC input from 100-240V at 50-60Hz. A 1.5m power cord is included in the package.

Input range and connector limits

The adapter operates on 100-240V AC input at 50-60Hz, making it suitable for international mains voltages. Output is fixed at 12V DC 3A; devices requiring a different voltage or higher current cannot use this unit. The barrel connector size must match the device exactly; refer to the product images for tip dimensions before ordering.

Simple plug-in installation

Installation requires connecting the mains cord to the adapter, plugging into a wall socket, and inserting the DC tip into the device. Ensure the output polarity and tip size match the original charger to avoid damage. The unit includes over-voltage and over-heat protection; keep it ventilated during extended use and do not place it on soft surfaces.

Questions about this item

Which voltage and amperage combination should I choose for my HiTRON device?

This adapter delivers a fixed 12V output at 3A for a total of 36W, matching the HEG42-120300-7 specification exactly.

What does the 36W rating mean when the adapter is powering my equipment?

It supplies up to 36 watts of continuous DC power, sufficient for devices that draw 3A at 12V without exceeding the adapter's thermal limits.

Will the 100-240V input work on my local mains supply?

Yes, the 100-240V 50-60Hz input range covers standard household voltages worldwide, so the unit operates on any mains supply within that window.
