Purpose and Audience

This ABLEGRID 12V AC-DC adaptor replaces the original charger for the Argos Bush T-1001C 10-inch portable DVD player. It is intended for owners who have lost or damaged the supplied power supply and need a direct plug-in replacement. Buyers who need a charger for a different device or a higher output voltage should not purchase this unit.

Installation and Common Issues

The adaptor plugs into a standard AC 100-240V mains socket at 50-60Hz and delivers DC power through a barrel tip connector. Installation is straightforward: connect the barrel tip to the player's DC input jack and switch on the mains supply. The most frequent problem is ordering the wrong tip size; the barrel diameter and polarity must match the player exactly or the unit will not fit or power the device.

Pre-Order Checks

Verify that the player requires a 12V DC input and that the original charger uses a barrel tip of the same dimensions and polarity. Confirm the mains voltage in your region falls within the 100-240V range and the socket accepts the supplied plug. Ensure adequate ventilation around the adaptor during extended use to avoid triggering the over-heat protection.
