19.5 V 65 W Blue-Tip Charger

This ABLEGRID AC adapter delivers 19.5 V at 3.33 A for a total of 65 W, matching the barrel connector size of 4.5 mm by 3.0 mm used on compatible HP laptops. It accepts a worldwide AC input range of 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz and includes a detachable power cable. The unit is a non-OEM replacement certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits monitor the adapter continuously during extended charging sessions. If internal temperatures rise or the output voltage drifts above safe limits, the protection engages to prevent damage to the charger and the connected notebook. The supplier advises keeping the unit in a ventilated area and avoiding placement on soft surfaces during prolonged use.

Barrel Connector Constraint

The 4.5 mm by 3.0 mm blue-tip barrel plug fits only devices that specify this exact centre-positive geometry and 19.5 V DC requirement. Laptops needing a different tip diameter, pin length or voltage will not connect or charge correctly. Buyers who need a USB-C power delivery profile or a higher wattage output for larger workstations cannot use this adapter.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the 65 W 19.5 V 3.33 A adapter get when it runs all day?

The unit includes over-heat protection and should be kept in a ventilated area; it has no fan, so it runs silently.

What must I already own to use this charger with my HP laptop?

You need a compatible HP laptop that accepts a 4.5 mm × 3.0 mm blue-tip barrel connector and a standard AC wall outlet.

Will the 100–240 V 50–60 Hz input work with the older power strip I still use?

Yes, the wide-range input accepts the same mains voltage and frequency that older strips deliver.
