Questions about this item

Does this charger require anything besides a standard wall socket to power the LG Gram 17Z990-R.AAS8U1?

No. The unit accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz, so it plugs directly into any mains outlet worldwide. The barrel tip connects to the laptop's DC input.

Can I keep using my original LG power cable with this ABLEGRID adapter?

Yes. The package includes a new power cable, but the adapter's IEC inlet is standard. Your existing cable will fit if it matches the C5 or C7 connector used by the LG Gram 17Z990-R.AAS8U1.

How can I verify the charger is delivering the correct 19 V output after I connect it?

The laptop's battery indicator should show charging immediately. The adapter includes over-voltage and over-heat protection, so it will shut down automatically if the output drifts outside safe limits.
