Replacement Power Cable

The ABLEGRID two-prong AC cord is a direct replacement for Definitive Technology ProSub 600, 800 and 1000 subwoofers. It restores power to a unit with a damaged or missing lead so the system returns to service quickly.

Two-Prong Mains Limitation

The cable uses a standard non-polarised two-prong plug rated for typical household outlets. It cannot be used where a grounded three-prong connection is required by local code or by the equipment manufacturer.

Six-Point-Six-Foot Reach

At 6.6 ft the cord spans most near-wall placements without tension. Longer runs across a room or behind furniture will need an extension lead, which adds another connection point and potential failure.

Questions about this item

Is the 6.6ft length right for my ProSub 600 setup?

The cable measures 6.6ft end to end, giving enough reach for most near-field or corner placements without excess slack.

Will this cord deliver full power to my ProSub 800?

It is a standard 2-prong AC lead rated for mains voltage, so the subwoofer receives the same wall power it would with the original cable.

Does the 2-prong connector match the IEC C7 inlet on the ProSub 1000?

Yes, the figure-8 style plug fits the C7 socket used on all three ProSub models listed.
