Compatible 24 V power supply for Cameo 2

This ABLEGRID AC adapter delivers 24 V DC output through a barrel tip and accepts worldwide input from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz. It is built as a non-OEM replacement for the Silhouette Cameo 2 cutting machine. Over-voltage and over-heat protection are included for safe operation.

Replaces a lost or faulty original charger

The unit serves as a direct substitute when the factory adapter is damaged, misplaced or no longer powers the tool. Swapping it restores full cutting function without modification. Buyers who need a higher-wattage supply for additional peripherals cannot use this single-output adapter.

Steady output during long cutting sessions

Continuous ventilation keeps temperatures stable when the machine runs for extended periods. The built-in safeguards prevent shutdown from thermal stress. Users who operate in enclosed cabinets without airflow should monitor the adapter to avoid heat buildup.

Questions about this item

What barrel-tip size and output voltage does the ABLEGRID 24V AC Adapter need to match my Silhouette Cameo 2?

The adapter supplies DC output with a barrel tip; verify your machine requires the same tip diameter and 24 V before ordering.

How do I install the adapter, and which step is often missed?

Connect the power cable to the adapter, plug the barrel tip firmly into the Cameo 2 power port, then plug the AC cord into a 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz outlet — the step often missed is fully seating the barrel tip until it clicks.

What maintenance will the ABLEGRID adapter need over time?

Keep the unit in a ventilated, low-humidity area, avoid placing it on soft surfaces, and stop use immediately if it becomes unusually hot or shows damage.
