What this adapter replaces

This ABLEGRID 29V AC/DC adapter is a non-OEM power supply built for Rowenta vacuum cleaners using the RH855201, RH8552GA, RH855301 and RH8553GA model numbers. It delivers 29V DC output from a 100-240V AC input at 50-60Hz, matching the original charger specifications. Over-voltage and over-heat protection are included, and the unit carries CE, FCC and RoHS certification. The package contains one adapter and no vacuum cleaner.

Who should buy it and who should not

Owners of the listed Rowenta stick vacuums who need a replacement charger can use this adapter, provided the DC output voltage and the barrel tip size match the original unit. Buyers with other Rowenta models or different brands must verify the connector dimensions and voltage before ordering, as the tip size is not described in text and compatibility is not guaranteed outside the four model numbers above.

Build considerations

The adapter accepts worldwide mains voltage from 100V to 240V at 50Hz or 60Hz, so it works on any standard household circuit without a separate transformer. It supplies a single 29V DC output through a fixed barrel connector, freeing the vacuum’s internal battery from reliance on the original charger. Ensure adequate ventilation around the brick during extended charging sessions and keep the unit away from moisture or heat sources.

Questions about this item

Which Rowenta vacuum models does this 29 V adapter replace?

It is built for Rowenta RH855201, RH8552GA, RH855301 and RH8553GA cleaners; verify the model label on your machine before ordering.

Will the adapter accept my local mains supply?

The input range is AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, so it works on household mains worldwide without a voltage converter.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering power correctly after I plug it in?

The vacuum should charge and run normally; the adapter includes over-voltage and over-heat protection that will shut it down if a fault occurs.
