Purpose and compatibility

This ABLEGRID wall charger replaces the original power adapter for Cowon iAudio A2 and A3 portable media players. It accepts AC 100-240V input at 50-60Hz for worldwide use and delivers DC output through a barrel tip connector. The unit is a non-OEM accessory built to match the player's power requirements.

Capacity and limits

The adapter supplies a 2A DC current with over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits. It comfortably handles daily charging and continuous playback power for the supported Cowon models. It runs out when used with devices that require a different voltage, polarity, or tip size, so verifying the output specification before ordering is essential.

Included accessory and certification

The package contains one new AC/DC adapter power charger. The product carries CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications and is described as 101% compatible with the original adapter. Supplier notes advise keeping the unit in a ventilated, low-humidity environment during extended use and stopping immediately if any abnormal condition occurs.

Questions about this item

Will this 2 A charger work with the original Cowon iAudio A2 and A3 players without modification?

Yes, the adapter is described as 101 % compatible with the original units and supplies the required DC output through the same barrel tip.

How can I confirm the charger is operating correctly once plugged in?

The built-in over-voltage and over-heat protections will engage if anything is abnormal; if the player charges normally and the adapter stays cool, it is working as intended.

Does the package include any extra cables or tips, or just the wall adapter itself?

Only one new AC/DC adapter power charger is included; no additional cables or alternative tips are supplied.
