Replacement power adapter for Spectre x2

The ABLEGRID 45W AC adapter supplies DC power to HP Spectre x2 models 12-a002dx, 12-a011nr and 12-a012nr. It accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz. The unit is a non-OEM charger built to match the original specifications. It includes over-voltage and over-heat protection for safe operation.

Continuous operation with thermal safeguards

Under sustained load the adapter maintains its rated 45W output while the over-heat protection circuit monitors internal temperature. If the unit exceeds safe limits it reduces power or shuts down to prevent damage. The wide input range allows stable performance on mains supplies from 100 to 240 volts without manual switching. Proper ventilation is recommended during extended use.

45W output and tip compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the 45W DC output combined with the correct connector tip size. Buyers must verify that the original charger’s output voltage, current and barrel dimensions match this unit before ordering. The product is not suitable for devices requiring a different wattage or tip geometry.
