45W USB-C Charger for HP Spectre x2

This 45W USB-C AC adapter is a non-OEM replacement built for the HP Spectre x2 12-a001dx and 12-a001tu models. It delivers 100% compatibility with the original 814838-002 part and includes over-voltage and over-heat protection for safe daily charging.

Worldwide 100-240V Input with 50-60Hz Range

The charger accepts AC input from 100V to 240V at 50Hz or 60Hz, so it works on mains supplies around the world without a separate voltage selector. A single unit covers travel or home use across supported regions.

DC Output with Model-Specific Tip Size

Output is DC and the connector tip size must match the device exactly; buyers should verify the output rating and tip dimensions against the original adapter before ordering. The package includes one new AC/DC adapter only.

Questions about this item

Will the AC 100-240V input let me keep using my older travel plug adapter?

Yes, the charger accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz, so your existing travel plug adapter will work worldwide.

How can I confirm the 45W USB-C output is working correctly after I connect it?

The HP Spectre x2 should show the charging indicator immediately and power on without overheating, thanks to the built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection.

What does the package include and what must I source separately?

The box contains 1 AC-DC adapter power charger; no extra cable is included, so you will need a compatible USB-C cable if you do not already have one.
