Compatible Replacement Cable

The ABLEGRID 5ft AC power cord is built specifically for the Polk Audio Omni SB1 Plus subwoofer model ZM6946-A. It provides a direct replacement when the original lead is lost or damaged. The cable restores mains power to the subwoofer without requiring any configuration or additional adapters. Owners of other Polk models or different subwoofer brands cannot use this cord.

Single Cable in Package

The box contains only one black AC power cable measuring five feet in length. No extra connectors, mounting hardware or software discs are included. The connector dimensions match the product images supplied by the manufacturer. Buyers who need a longer run, a right-angle plug or a multi-outlet strip will have to source those items separately.

Everyday Build Quality

The cord uses standard PVC insulation and moulded strain relief at both ends for durability in home environments. Its five-foot length reaches nearby wall sockets without excessive slack on typical AV furniture. The two-pin mains plug fits UK-style outlets directly. Installers who need in-wall rating, locking connectors or a different plug type should look for a specialised alternative.

Questions about this item

Will the 5 ft AC power cord for the Polk Audio Omni SB1 Plus subwoofer need periodic replacement?

The cable is a passive 5 ft AC power cord with no moving parts or batteries, so it does not require scheduled replacement under normal indoor use.

What is the first limitation that appears when the cord runs continuously at full load?

The only practical limit is the fixed 5 ft length, which restricts placement of the subwoofer relative to the wall outlet.

Does the power cord generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day operation?

No, a standard AC power cord carries current silently and remains at ambient temperature when used within the subwoofer's rated power draw.
