Compatible power cable for WD My Book Essential

This replacement mains cable fits WD My Book Essential external hard drives in 4TB, 3TB, 2TB and 1TB capacities. It is a new, generic accessory manufactured by ABLEGRID and supplies power to the drive enclosure. The cord measures 5ft in length and has a black finish.

Check connector shape

Verify that the connector on your existing power supply matches the connector shown in the product images. This cable is designed specifically for the WD My Book Essential series and will not fit other drive models or brands. Ensure the drive requires a standard AC mains input cable.

Replaces a lost or damaged original cable

Use this cable when the factory power cord is missing, frayed or no longer makes reliable contact. The jump is worth it if the original cable has failed and the drive enclosure itself is still functional. It restores power delivery without needing a new enclosure.
