Compatible Power Adapter for Roberts Play 10

This ABLEGRID charger replaces the original PU28 supply for the Roberts Play 10 DAB radio. It accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for worldwide use. The barrel tip connector matches the radio's DC input. Buyers needing a different voltage or tip size should verify specifications before ordering.

Steady Output with Protective Circuits

Over-voltage and over-heat protection engage during extended operation to safeguard the radio. The adapter maintains a stable DC output under continuous load rather than only in short bursts. Adequate ventilation is recommended for long listening sessions. No internal battery or UPS runtime is provided for the radio itself.

Lightweight Non-OEM Build with Barrel Connector

The unit is a brand-new, non-OEM replacement certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards. Its compact barrel-tip plug inserts directly into the radio without extra cables. The housing is designed for indoor desktop or shelf placement. Users should keep the adapter away from moisture and soft surfaces during use.

Questions about this item

How hot does the 5 V ABLEGRID adaptor get when it powers the Roberts Play 10 DAB radio all day?

The charger includes over-heat protection and the supplier advises keeping it in a ventilated area during extended use.

What must I already own for this 5 V ABLEGRID charger to work with my Roberts Play 10 DAB radio?

You need the radio itself with a matching barrel-tip DC input; the adaptor accepts 100-240 V AC mains.

Will this 5 V ABLEGRID unit run safely alongside the original Roberts PU28 supply I still have?

It is a non-OEM replacement rated for the same 5 V DC output and barrel tip, so it can substitute the PU28 directly.
