Replacement power lead for Yamaha AV receivers

This 6.6 ft AC cable connects Yamaha RX-V1200 and RX-V1300 models to a mains outlet using a standard two-prong plug. It is a new, non-OEM accessory built to match the original connector shape shown in the product images. The cord restores power to compatible home-theatre amplifiers when the factory lead is lost or damaged.

Fits into existing equipment rack without

The two-prong IEC connector mates directly with the receiver inlet while the wall plug inserts into a regular UK socket. No adapter or rewiring is required, freeing the original cable for spare duty or allowing the amplifier to be positioned further from the outlet thanks to the 6.6 ft length. The black jacket blends with typical AV furniture.

Suits owners of the listed Yamaha models needing

Buyers with other receiver brands or three-pin inlets should look elsewhere because the connector geometry differs. Anyone requiring a longer run or an angled plug will need a different cable specification not covered by this listing.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.6ft length reach my Yamaha RX-V1200 from a floor outlet?

The cable measures 6.6ft end to end, giving enough slack for most floor-to-rack runs with the RX-V1200 or RX-V1300.

Does the cord get warm or hum after hours of powering the receiver?

It is a passive 2-prong lead with UL marking, so it carries only mains current and produces no audible noise or noticeable heat under normal load.

Must I already own a Yamaha RX-V1200 or RX-V1300 for this cable to fit?

Yes, the connector is sized for the IEC C7 figure-8 inlet found on those two Yamaha models; other devices with the same inlet will also accept it.
