Compatible replacement cord

This AC power cord fits Definitive Technology BP-8020ST and BP-8040ST SuperTower speakers. It is a brand-new ABLEGRID cable built to UL listing requirements. The cord measures 6.6ft and comes in black. It is a generic compatible product, not an original OEM part.

Upgrades worn or lost leads

The cord replaces a damaged, missing or too-short factory lead on the supported SuperTower models. The jump is worth it when the original cable has frayed insulation or a bent connector that causes intermittent power. A 6.6ft length gives more placement freedom than shorter stock cables.

Suits owners of listed speakers

Buyers with a BP-8020ST or BP-8040ST who need a direct plug-in replacement will find this cord fits without adapters. It is not for users whose equipment uses a different connector shape or voltage rating. It is also not for installations that require a longer run than 6.6ft.

Questions about this item

Which connector size does the 6.6ft cord use to fit the BP-8020ST or BP-8040ST inlet?

The connector size matches the inlet shown in the product pictures for both Definitive Technology SuperTower models.

What is the correct way to seat the plug so the connection stays secure?

Push the moulded plug fully into the speaker's AC inlet until it sits flush with no gap; a partial insert can cause intermittent power.

The worry-free warranty lasts 360 days from the date of purchase.
