Compatible LG gram 15Z980 Power Adapter

The ABLEGRID 65W AC adapter replaces the original charger for the LG gram 15Z980-A.AAS8U1 ultrabook. It delivers 65W DC output through a barrel tip connector and includes a detachable AC power cord. The unit is a non-OEM replacement built to match the laptop’s power requirements.

Verify Output and Tip Before Ordering

Confirm that your device requires a 65W DC supply with the same barrel tip dimensions before purchasing. The adapter accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz, so it works on mains voltage in most countries. Ensure the connector polarity and size match the original charger to avoid damage.

For LG gram 15Z980 Owners Needing a Spare

This charger suits owners of the LG gram 15Z980-A.AAS8U1 who need a replacement or travel spare. It is not for users whose laptops require a different wattage, a USB-C power input, or a proprietary connector other than the barrel tip. Buyers needing higher power for docking stations or discrete GPU models should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the box include both the 65W adapter and a mains cable, or must I buy the cable separately?

The package contains one new AC DC adapter and one new power cable, so nothing extra is required for mains connection.

The listing mentions a barrel tip — how do I confirm this 65W unit fits my 15Z980-A.AAS8U1 ultrabook?

Match the DC output voltage and the barrel tip dimensions to the original charger before ordering; the adapter is built for 100 percent compatibility with that model.

The input range is AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz — what does that mean when I plug it in at home?

It accepts any standard household voltage worldwide, automatically adjusting so the 65W output remains stable wherever you use it.
