AC Adapter for ASUS X54C-SX318V

This 65 W AC adapter replaces the original power supply for the ASUS X54C-SX318V laptop. It accepts a worldwide AC input range of 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz and delivers 19 V at 3.42 A through a barrel tip connector. The unit is a non-OEM replacement certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards.

Sustained load behaviour

Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits guard the adapter during continuous operation. The supplier advises keeping the unit in a well-ventilated, low-humidity environment and away from skin-contact surfaces when it is used for extended periods. No active cooling components are described in the specifications.

Build and connectors

The barrel tip connector must match the laptop's DC jack exactly; the notes stress verifying output voltage and tip size before ordering. A standard AC power cable is included in the package. The adapter is brand new and carries industry-quality certifications, but no ruggedised housing or water-resistance rating is mentioned.
