Power Adapter for Electro Harmonix BASS9

This 9.6V AC-DC adapter supplies mains power to the Electro Harmonix BASS9 bass machine. It replaces a lost or damaged original supply so the pedal can run from a wall outlet. The unit accepts worldwide AC input and delivers the required DC output through a barrel tip connector.

Input Range and Protection Features

The adapter operates on AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for global compatibility. Built-in over voltage and over heat protection circuits guard the connected pedal against mains irregularities. The 101% compatibility claim indicates it meets the original electrical specification for this device.

Barrel Connector Fit and Usage Limits

Correct barrel tip size is essential; the adapter will not work if the plug diameter or polarity differs from the BASS9 requirement. Long-term operation demands adequate ventilation and a dry environment. Users must verify the output voltage and connector dimensions match the pedal before connecting power.

Questions about this item

Will this 9.6V adapter run my Electro Harmonix BASS9 alongside other 9V pedals on the same power strip?

Yes, the adapter accepts 100-240V AC at 50-60Hz and delivers 9.6V DC via a barrel tip, so it can share a strip with standard 9V units as long as each pedal gets its own correct supply.

How can I confirm the charger is operating correctly once plugged in?

The unit includes over-voltage and over-heat protection; normal operation means the BASS9 powers up without noise or shutdown, and the adapter body stays only warm to the touch.

What comes in the package and what must I source separately?

The box contains one new AC-DC adapter with barrel connector; you only need a working mains outlet and the BASS9 pedal itself — no extra cables or batteries are required.
