Power Supply for Phase Shifter

This 9.6V AC-DC adapter powers the Electro Harmonix Bad Stone analog phase shifter effect pedal. It accepts worldwide AC input from 100-240V at 50-60Hz and delivers a DC output through a barrel tip connector. The unit is a non-OEM replacement built to match the original specifications.

Build Quality and Daily Use

The adapter carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications and includes over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits. A barrel tip connector mates directly with the pedal's power jack, so no extra cables are needed. The supplier notes that users should verify the output voltage and tip size before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

The power supply operates from standard mains voltage without a fan, so it runs silently on a pedalboard or desk. Over-heat protection engages if the unit exceeds safe temperatures during extended sessions. Keeping the adapter in a ventilated area helps maintain stable operation over long periods.
