Compatible Power Adapter

This 9.6 V AC-DC adapter replaces the original supply for the Electro-Harmonix EHX Performance Series Volume Pedal. It delivers 101% compatibility with the original unit and carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications. The package includes one new mains PSU ready for immediate use.

Worldwide Input Range

The adapter accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, making it suitable for mains voltages around the world without a separate transformer. Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection safeguard both the pedal and the power supply during extended sessions. Users must verify that the barrel tip size matches the pedal before connecting.

Fixed Output Specification

The unit provides a single 9.6 V DC output tailored to the pedal's requirements; it cannot power devices needing a different voltage or polarity. Continuous operation requires adequate ventilation and a dry environment as noted in the safety guidelines. Buyers needing adjustable voltage or multiple output rails should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Is the 9.6 V output the only version available for this pedal?

This adapter supplies a fixed 9.6 V DC output with a barrel tip sized for the Electro‑Harmonix Performance Series Volume Pedal; no other voltage or tip options are offered.

Will the 100‑240 V input work on any mains supply worldwide?

Yes, the AC input range of 100‑240 V at 50‑60 Hz covers standard mains voltages globally, so the unit can be plugged in wherever those supplies exist.

What does the barrel‑tip connector limit in practice?

The barrel tip fits only devices that accept that specific plug size and 9.6 V DC polarity, so it cannot be used with pedals or gear requiring a different connector or voltage.
