9V AC-DC adapter for Electro Harmonix BASS9

The ABLEGRID charger delivers a regulated 9 V DC output from a 100‑240 V AC source at 50‑60 Hz. It is built as a non‑OEM replacement that matches the original specification for the BASS9 bass machine. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications confirm compliance with basic safety and environmental standards.

Barrel-tip connector with over‑voltage

The bundled unit includes a single AC‑DC adapter fitted with a barrel tip sized for the BASS9. Integrated protection circuits guard the pedal against voltage spikes and excessive temperature during extended sessions.

Pedalboard players needing a reliable mains supply

Musicians who want a direct wall‑powered solution for the BASS9 will find this adapter a straightforward fit. Those who require a battery‑operated or multi‑voltage supply should look at other power options.

Questions about this item

Will the barrel-tip connector wear out and need replacing?

The barrel tip is a passive connector with no moving parts, so it does not wear out under normal use.

What limits continuous operation first — the over-voltage protection or the over-heat protection?

Over-heat protection will trip first if ventilation is blocked, shutting the adapter down until it cools.

How much heat and noise does the adapter produce when powering the BASS9 all day?

It runs silently with no fan; the case gets warm but stays within safe limits if kept in open air.
