Purpose and compatibility

The ABLEGRID 9V AC-DC adapter is built for the Electro Harmonix SYNTH9 synthesizer. It replaces a lost or damaged mains power supply so the pedal can run from any standard wall outlet. Musicians who need a reliable replacement for stage or studio use will find it fits the original specification.

Protection and certification

The charger includes over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits that guard the synthesizer against mains irregularities. It carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications and is described as 101% compatible with the original equipment. The package contains only the adapter itself.

Input range and output format

The unit accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for worldwide use and delivers DC power through a barrel tip connector. Buyers must confirm the exact tip size and polarity before ordering because an incorrect fit will prevent operation.

Questions about this item

How often will the over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits need replacement?

The protection circuits are built into the adapter and have no user-replaceable parts; they operate continuously without scheduled maintenance.

What is the first limit reached when the adapter runs continuously at full load?

The over-heat protection activates first if internal temperature rises beyond safe levels, shutting the unit down until it cools.

How much heat and noise does the charger produce when powering the SYNTH9 all day?

It runs silently with no fan; warmth is normal but the over-heat protection prevents excessive temperature during extended use.
