A 9 V AC-DC adapter with 100-240 V worldwide input, 50-60 Hz frequency, barrel tip output and over-voltage plus over-heat protection

  • Battery typeUPS
  • Worldwide 100-240 V AC input works everywhere
  • 101 % compatibility with the Electro-Harmonix Tone Corset
  • Over-voltage and over-heat protection guards your pedal
  • CE/FCC/RoHS certified for safety compliance
  • Ready-to-use mains PSU with barrel-tip connector

Compatible Power Supply

This ABLEGRID adapter replaces the original mains PSU for the Electro-Harmonix Tone Corset analog compressor. It delivers a 9 V DC output through a barrel tip connector. The unit accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz for worldwide use. Over-voltage and over-heat protection are built in.

Pedalboard Musicians

Guitarists and bassists who need a reliable mains power source for their Tone Corset compressor will find this charger a direct fit. It is not for players who require a battery-powered or multi-pedal power supply solution. Buyers with pedals using a different voltage, polarity or tip size must select another adapter.

9 V DC Barrel Output

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 9 V DC output with a barrel tip connector. Your Tone Corset must require exactly this voltage and tip geometry. Verify the pedal’s power requirements match before ordering. The adapter is a non-OEM replacement certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards.

Questions about this item

What does the 100-240 V AC input mean when I plug this into a wall outlet?

It accepts mains voltages from 100 V to 240 V at 50-60 Hz, so the adapter works worldwide without a voltage selector.

What does the barrel tip connector limit in practice?

The barrel tip fits only devices that use that exact tip size and polarity; it cannot connect to equipment with a different plug format.

What physical space does this adapter need to sit safely?

It is a compact wall-wart style unit; keep it in a ventilated area away from fabrics or skin-contact surfaces during extended use.
