Purpose & Audience

The ABLEGRID 9V AC-DC adapter is built for musicians who need a reliable mains power supply for the Electro-Harmonix Small Stone Nano chassis effect pedal. It replaces a missing or damaged original unit so the pedal can run from a wall socket instead of a battery.

Build & Connectors

The unit accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240V at 50 or 60Hz and delivers DC output through a barrel tip connector. Over-voltage and over-heat protection are integrated, and the housing carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications. The supplier notes the tip size must match the pedal before ordering.

Upgrade Context

This adapter upgrades a battery-only setup to continuous mains operation for longer sessions or studio work. The jump is worth it when a player wants to avoid battery changes and voltage sag during extended use. It is not suited for pedals that require a different voltage, polarity or tip diameter.

Questions about this item

What AC input range does this 9 V adapter accept and what mains frequency does it cover?

The adapter accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, so it works on mains supplies worldwide without a voltage selector.

What connector type and polarity does the barrel tip use for the Small Stone Nano chassis?

The plug is a centre-positive barrel tip sized to match the Electro-Harmonix Small Stone Nano pedal; verify the tip dimensions on your unit before ordering.

How do you connect the adapter safely and what common mistake should be avoided?

Plug the AC cord into a 100-240 V outlet, then insert the barrel tip into the pedal's power jack; the frequent error is reversing polarity or using a mismatched tip size.
