Power adapter for Electro-Harmonix Super Switcher

This 9 V AC-DC adapter powers the Electro-Harmonix Super Switcher programmable effects hub. It accepts worldwide mains input from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz. The unit is a non-OEM replacement built to 101 % compatibility with the original supply. Over-voltage and over-heat protection are integrated.

Barrel-tip connector and safety certifications

The cable ends in a barrel tip; the buyer must verify that the tip size and DC output polarity match the pedalboard hub before ordering. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications confirm compliance with basic electrical-safety and environmental standards. The package contains only the adapter and no additional cables or mounting hardware.

Check your hub’s DC jack and voltage polarity

Confirm that the Super Switcher requires 9 V DC with the correct centre-pin polarity and barrel diameter before purchase. Ensure the mains voltage in your region falls within the 100–240 V range and that the outlet can deliver 50 or 60 Hz. Keep the adapter ventilated during extended use and do not place it on heat-sensitive surfaces.

Questions about this item

Will the barrel tip connector need replacing over time?

The barrel tip is a fixed part of the adapter and is not designed to be user-replaceable; if the tip wears or damages, the whole unit would need replacement.

What is the first limit reached during continuous operation?

The adapter includes over-heat protection that will activate if internal temperatures exceed safe limits during sustained use, shutting the unit down until it cools.

How much heat or noise does it produce when left on all day?

It runs silently with no fan; warmth is normal during extended operation, and the over-heat protection ensures it stays within safe thermal limits.
