Replacement power adapter for Hitachi XL Desk

This ABLEGRID AC adapter supplies DC power to Hitachi XL Desk external hard drives in 1 TB, 2 TB and 3 TB capacities. It accepts a worldwide AC input of 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz and includes over-voltage and over-heat protection. The unit is CE, FCC and RoHS certified and ships as a non-OEM replacement.

Straightforward barrel-tip connection

Installation is a simple matter of plugging the barrel tip into the drive's DC jack and connecting the mains lead to a wall socket. The most common issue is a tip-size mismatch, so verify the connector dimensions before ordering. Ensure the adapter has adequate ventilation during extended use and keep it away from skin-contact surfaces.

Check your drive's DC rating and tip size

Before purchase, confirm that the original power supply's output voltage and current match this adapter's specifications. The barrel-tip polarity and diameter must also be identical to the drive's input jack. This adapter is not suitable for drives requiring a different output voltage or a non-barrel connector.
