Compatible power adapter for 22in LG monitor

This ABLEGRID AC adapter is built as a non-OEM replacement for the LG 22MK420H 22in class Full HD IPS LED monitor. It supplies the required DC output through a barrel tip connector and includes a matching AC power cable. The unit carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications and is intended for users who need a direct substitute for the original charger. Buyers who require a multi-voltage travel adapter with interchangeable tips should look elsewhere.

Sustained-load behaviour with protection circuits

The adapter accepts a worldwide AC input range of 100-240V at 50-60Hz and delivers a steady DC output for continuous monitor operation. Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protections activate if the supply exceeds safe limits during extended use, helping to prevent damage to the connected display. The manufacturer advises keeping the unit in a suitably ventilated area with controlled humidity when it is run for long periods. Users who need active cooling or fan-assisted thermal management will not find it here.

Barrel-connector limits and verification

Power delivery is fixed to the barrel tip size specified for the target monitor, so the connector cannot be swapped for other tip diameters or polarities. The input stage handles the full 100-240V AC range at 50-60Hz without manual switching, but the output voltage and current are set for this specific model and cannot be adjusted. Before ordering, purchasers must confirm that the DC output rating and tip dimensions match the original adapter exactly. Installations that require a locking connector or a different DC voltage are not supported.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter run hot or draw much power when powering the LG 22MK420H all day?

The charger accepts 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz and includes over-voltage and over-heat protection; keeping it ventilated during extended use is recommended.

What must I already have for this charger to work with my monitor?

You need the LG 22MK420H monitor itself and a standard mains socket; the barrel tip must match the monitor's DC input.

Will this unit work if I keep an older LG monitor that uses the same barrel tip?

Yes, provided the older monitor requires the same DC output voltage and barrel-tip dimensions as the 22MK420H.
