AC Adapter for 61-Key Yamaha Keyboards

This ABLEGRID power adapter supplies DC output to the Yamaha PSR-E243 and PSR-E343 portable keyboards. It accepts a worldwide AC input range of 100-240V at 50-60Hz, making it suitable for international use. The barrel tip connector is sized for the specified 61-key models.

Sustained Operation and Protection

During extended practice or performance sessions the adapter maintains a stable DC supply while built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits guard against electrical stress. Adequate ventilation is recommended when the unit runs for long periods to keep internal temperatures within safe limits.

Input Interface Limits

The charger operates only from standard mains electricity between 100 and 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz. It cannot be powered from DC sources such as battery packs or vehicle outlets, and the fixed barrel tip prevents use with devices requiring a different connector size or polarity.

Questions about this item

Does the ABLEGRID adapter run hot or make noise when powering a Yamaha PSR-E243 all day?

The adapter includes over-heat protection and has no moving parts, so it stays quiet and should not become excessively warm during continuous use.

What must I already own for this charger to work with my keyboard?

You need a Yamaha PSR-E243 or PSR-E343 61-key portable keyboard with a matching barrel-tip DC input; the adapter itself supplies the mains lead.

Will this power supply work if I keep using an older Yamaha keyboard alongside the PSR-E343?

It is designed for the PSR-E243 and PSR-E343 models; compatibility with other Yamaha keyboards depends on matching the same DC output voltage and barrel-tip size.
