Worldwide Input and Safety Features

The unit accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for use in any region without a voltage converter. Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection guard the keyboard and the adapter during extended sessions. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications confirm compliance with international safety standards.

Verify Tip Size and Ventilation Before Use

Confirm that the barrel tip dimensions and DC output polarity match the keyboard's power jack exactly before connecting. Keep the adapter in a well-ventilated area away from soft surfaces during long playing periods to prevent heat build-up.

Questions about this item

Will the barrel tip on this ABLEGRID charger wear out and need replacing?

The barrel tip is a fixed part of the cable; if it becomes loose or damaged the whole adapter must be replaced.

What limits the adapter first when the Yamaha YPG-235 runs continuously?

Sustained load brings the over-heat protection into action before any other limit.

How much heat or noise does this power supply produce during all-day use?

It runs silently with no fan; warmth stays low thanks to the over-heat protection circuit.
