Replacement Power Adapter for Boston BA745

This ABLEGRID AC adapter supplies 12 V DC power to the Boston Acoustics BA745 speaker system. It accepts a worldwide AC input range of 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz and uses a barrel-style connector tip. The unit is a non-OEM replacement built with over-voltage and over-heat protection.

For owners needing a direct BA745 power supply

Suitable for users who have lost or damaged the original mains lead for their Boston BA745 setup. Buyers who need a different output voltage, a non-barrel connector, or an OEM-branded unit should look elsewhere. The adapter is certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards.

Verify the DC output and barrel tip before ordering

Confirm that your speaker requires 12 V DC and that the barrel tip dimensions match the original connector. Ensure the adapter will be used in a ventilated area and not placed on skin-contact surfaces during extended operation. Package includes one AC DC adapter only.

Questions about this item

What must the Boston BA745 speaker already have for this adapter to work?

The speaker must accept a 12 V DC input through a barrel tip connector that matches the adapter's output plug size.

Will this adapter run safely alongside an older original Boston Acoustics power supply if I keep both?

It includes over-voltage and over-heat protection, so it will not damage the speaker if used as a replacement; do not connect two supplies to the same speaker at once.

How can I confirm the adapter is operating correctly after I plug it in?

The speaker should power on normally with no unusual heat, noise or shutdown from the adapter; the built-in protections will activate if voltage or temperature exceed safe limits.
