Questions about this item

Will the 100-240 V input range let this adapter run on mains power anywhere in the world?

Yes, the AC input covers 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, so it works on household mains in most countries without a voltage converter.

What does the barrel tip connector limit in practice?

The barrel tip only fits devices with a matching centre-positive barrel jack, so it cannot power equipment that uses a different DC plug shape or polarity.

Does the adapter need any special mounting or ventilation space?

No mounting hardware is required; just keep the unit on a flat surface with free airflow around it and avoid placing it on soft or insulated materials during extended use.
