Questions about this item

Will the barrel tip wear out and need replacing?

The barrel tip is a fixed part of the cable; if it loosens or bends the whole adapter must be replaced.

What limits continuous use first?

Heat builds up during long sessions; the built-in over-heat protection will shut the unit down before damage occurs.

How hot or noisy does it get when left plugged in all day?

It runs silently with no fan; warmth is normal but the over-heat circuit cuts power if temperatures rise too high.
