ABLEGRID AC Adapter for SimpleTech Simpledrive

This AC adapter is designed for SimpleTech Simpledrive external hard drives and replaces a lost or faulty mains supply. It accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz and delivers DC power through a barrel tip connector.

Simple plug-in installation with barrel tip check

Installation only requires matching the DC output voltage and the barrel tip size to the drive before connecting to the mains. The adapter includes over-voltage and over-heat protection, and the supplier advises keeping the unit ventilated during extended use and not placing it on skin-contact surfaces.

Worldwide voltage headroom for desktop external

The 100 to 240 volt input range covers mains supplies in most countries without a separate transformer. It comfortably powers compatible Simpledrive units, but it cannot supply drives that need a different output voltage, a different tip polarity or a higher current rating than this adapter provides.
