What This Adapter Replaces

This ABLEGRID AC adapter is a non-OEM replacement for the Tivoli Audio PALP-PS-CE and HKP12-1201000DV switching power supplies. It accepts AC 100-240V input at 50-60Hz for worldwide use and delivers DC output via a barrel tip connector. The unit carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications and includes over-voltage and over-heat protection.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Owners of compatible Tivoli Audio devices who need a new mains charger will find this adapter matches the required output and tip size. Buyers who cannot verify that their original unit uses the same DC voltage and barrel tip dimensions should look elsewhere, as an incorrect match can damage the equipment.

Check Your Original Supply Before Ordering

Confirm that the original power supply lists the same DC output voltage and barrel tip size before purchasing. The adapter operates on AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz, so ensure your mains supply falls within this range. Keep the unit ventilated during extended use and do not place it on soft surfaces that could block airflow.

Questions about this item

Which Tivoli Audio model must I already own for this ABLEGRID adapter to fit?

It is built for the PALP-PS-CE and HKP12-1201000DV models; the barrel tip size must match the radio's DC input exactly.

Will this adapter work alongside the original Tivoli Audio power supply I still have?

Both supply 12 V DC, so they can power the same radio, but only one should be connected at a time to avoid back-feed.

How can I confirm the adapter is operating correctly after I plug it in?

The radio powers on and plays audio normally; the adapter stays cool and shows no unusual smell or noise during use.
