ABLEGRID AC Adapter for WD Drives

This replacement charger powers Western Digital devices carrying the 20000H1Q, 10000H1Q or 7500H1Q model codes. It accepts a worldwide AC 100-240 V input at 50-60 Hz and delivers DC output through a barrel tip connector. The unit is a non-OEM accessory certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards.

Suitable for WD drive owners needing a spare

Buyers who need a power supply for a different connector size or voltage should look elsewhere. The adapter is designed only for the three listed WD models and cannot be used with devices that require another tip diameter or polarity.

Barrel tip connector and DC output

The single specification that decides fit is the barrel tip connector paired with the correct DC output rating. Verify the tip size and voltage on your original unit before ordering; an incorrect match will prevent the drive from powering on.

Questions about this item

What does the 525% compatibility claim mean when I plug this adapter into my Western Digital drive?

The 525% figure indicates the adapter is designed to work with WD20000H1Q-00, WD10000H1Q-00 and WD7500H1Q-00 models, matching the original voltage and tip polarity for those units.

The input lists AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz — what does that cap in practice?

It accepts any mains supply from 100 V to 240 V at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, so the adapter works worldwide without a voltage switch.

What does the barrel tip connector need to fit my drive?

The adapter uses a barrel tip; you must verify the tip’s inner and outer diameter match the DC jack on your WD20000H1Q, WD10000H1Q or WD7500H1Q unit before ordering.
