  • Designed for WD Elements 6400N and 10000N drives

Compatible WD Elements models

This ABLEGRID AC adapter is built for Western Digital WD Elements drives carrying the 6400N and 10000N model numbers. It replaces the original mains lead with a non-OEM unit that matches the required DC output and barrel tip size. Buyers who need a power supply for other WD series or for drives with a different connector should verify the tip dimensions before ordering.

Sustained-load behaviour

The adapter accepts a worldwide AC input of 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz and delivers a steady DC output for continuous drive operation. Over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits engage automatically during extended use, while the supplier notes that adequate ventilation should be maintained if the unit runs for long periods. No battery or UPS runtime figures are provided.

Deciding specification

The critical match is the barrel tip connector size and the exact DC output voltage required by the 6400N or 10000N drive; the adapter will not function if either value differs from the original supply. The package includes one new AC-DC charger and no additional cables or mounting hardware.
