Power Supply for WD My Book

This ABLEGRID AC adapter is a replacement power supply for WD My Book models WDG1U800 and WDG1U800N. It accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz. The unit delivers DC output through a barrel tip connector. It includes over-voltage and over-heat protection.

For WD My Book owners needing a spare

This adapter suits owners of the listed WD My Book drives who need a replacement or spare mains lead. It is not suitable for drives that require a different output voltage, a different connector size, or a higher current rating than this unit provides. Buyers must verify their original adapter's DC output and tip dimensions before purchasing.

100-240V input with protection circuits

The adapter handles global mains voltages from 100 to 240 volts, providing headroom for international use. Its protection circuits guard against voltage spikes and excessive heat during extended operation. The unit runs out of capacity if the connected drive draws more current than the adapter's fixed output rating allows.
