ABLEGRID AC Adapter for WD My Book

This ABLEGRID AC adapter replaces the power supply for WD My Book drives using model numbers WDG1U800A and WDG1U800S. It delivers DC output through a barrel tip connector and accepts AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz for worldwide use. The unit is brand new, non-OEM, and carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications with over-voltage and over-heat protection built in.

Users needing a direct replacement

This adapter suits owners of the listed WD My Book models who have lost or damaged the original mains lead. It is not intended for drives that require a different output voltage, a different connector polarity or a non-barrel connector. Buyers who need to power any other device should verify the exact specifications before ordering.

Output connector must match the drive barrel tip

The barrel tip size is the single detail that determines whether this adapter will fit the drive. The product note instructs the buyer to confirm that the DC output and tip size are correct before purchase. No other specification in the listing overrides this physical compatibility requirement.
