Direct Replacement Power Supply

This ABLEGRID AC adapter replaces the original charger for Yamaha YDP-S30, YDP-140 and YDP-141 digital pianos. It delivers a DC output through a barrel tip connector and accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 Hz. The unit is brand new, non-OEM and carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications. Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection help safeguard the instrument during extended use.

Barrel Tip Connector Fit

The critical specification is the barrel tip size, which must match the piano's DC input exactly. The supplier notes 331 percent compatibility with the original adapter, but the buyer must verify that the output voltage and tip dimensions are correct before ordering. No alternative connector types are included in the package. Using an incorrect tip can prevent the piano from powering on or cause damage.

Continuous Operation Headroom

The adapter is designed for continuous mains-powered operation of the compatible Yamaha models. It handles normal practice and performance sessions without issue when kept in a ventilated, low-humidity environment. The unit should not be placed on skin-contact surfaces during long use. It is not intended for battery-backed or portable UPS applications beyond powering the listed digital pianos.

Questions about this item

Will the 100-240 V input range let me use this adapter on any mains supply worldwide?

Yes, the adapter accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, so it works on mains voltages found in most countries without a separate voltage converter.

What does the barrel tip connector mean for compatibility with my Yamaha digital piano?

The barrel tip must match the piano's DC input exactly; verify that the original charger for the YDP-S30, YDP-140 or YDP-141 uses the same tip size before connecting.

How much space does the adapter need for safe ventilation during long sessions?

Keep the unit in a well-ventilated area away from soft surfaces or fabrics so the over-heat protection can dissipate heat effectively during extended use.
