Over-Voltage and Over-Heat Protection Included

The charger integrates over-voltage protection and over-heat protection to safeguard the connected radio during extended use. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications confirm compliance with recognised safety and environmental standards. The package includes one new AC/DC adapter power charger.

Verify DC Output and Tip Size Before Ordering

Buyers must confirm that the DC output voltage and connector tip dimensions match the original adapter before purchase. The supplier notes that the connector size should be referenced from the product pictures. Keep the adapter in a ventilated area and avoid placing it on sensitive surfaces during long charging sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter have a replaceable fuse or any user-serviceable part inside?

The unit is a sealed AC/DC adapter with no user-serviceable components; if the internal fuse blows the whole adapter must be replaced.

What is the first limit reached when the adapter runs continuously at full load?

Sustained full-load operation will hit the over-heat protection first, causing the adapter to shut down until it cools.

How warm and noisy does the adapter get when left plugged in all day?

It runs silently with no fan; the case becomes warm but stays within safe limits thanks to the built-in over-heat protection.
