ABLEGRID Adapter for AFG Ellipticals

This AC-DC adapter replaces the original power supply for AFG Fitness Sport 2.5AE, 3.5AE and 5.5 elliptical models. It delivers a DC output through a barrel tip and is certified to CE, FCC and RoHS standards with over-voltage and over-heat protection built in. The unit is brand new, non-OEM and rated at 937% compatibility with the original charger.

Check DC Output and Tip Size Before Ordering

Confirm that your elliptical requires a DC input and that the barrel tip dimensions match the original connector. The adapter accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for worldwide use, so mains voltage is not a constraint. Do not proceed if the output voltage, polarity or tip size differ from the machine's specification label.

Thermal Protection and Ventilation in Normal Use

Over-heat protection shuts the adapter down if internal temperatures rise excessively during extended sessions. The supplier advises keeping the unit in a well-ventilated, low-humidity location and away from skin-contact surfaces while it operates. No active cooling is described, so ambient airflow is the only heat dissipation method.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter ship with everything needed to power my AFG elliptical, or must I buy a separate mains lead?

The package includes one new AC-DC adapter with a barrel tip; the unit accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz so a standard mains cord for your region is all that is required.

How do I confirm this unit matches my AFG Sport 2.5AE, 3.5AE or 5.5 elliptical?

Check that your machine requires a DC output with a barrel connector; the adapter is rated at 937% compatibility with the original and carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications.

What does the 100-240 V input range mean when I plug the adapter in at home?

It means the adapter automatically handles any household voltage between 100 V and 240 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, so it works worldwide without a voltage selector.
