Questions about this item

How do I install the ABLEGRID AC DC adapter for my AXIS PS-K PSK ART.NO. 24953 and what step is often missed?

Connect the barrel tip to the camera's DC input and plug the AC cord into a 100-240V 50-60Hz outlet. The step often missed is verifying the output voltage and tip size match the device before powering on.

What maintenance or replacement will this power supply need over time?

Keep the adapter in a ventilated, low-humidity area and avoid placing it on soft surfaces. Replace the unit if the cable frays, the barrel tip loosens, or the housing shows heat damage.

What limit appears first when this adapter runs continuously?

The over-heat protection will trigger first under sustained load or poor airflow, shutting the unit down until it cools. Ensure adequate ventilation to avoid repeated thermal cycling.
