Compatible Dell Studio Models

This AC DC adapter fits Dell Studio 1457 1458 1536 1558 and 1735 laptops. It replaces a lost or faulty original charger for daily office or home use. The 5ft cable gives enough reach for desk or bedside charging.

Included Power Cord

The bundle supplies a free mains cord so the unit works straight from a UK wall socket without hunting for a separate lead. Over voltage and over heat protection circuits guard the laptop during extended sessions.

Worldwide Input Range

The adapter accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz for travel across regions. The fixed 1.5m output cable limits placement flexibility compared to detachable designs. Buyers needing a longer reach or a right-angled tip should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the DC tip on this adapter wear out and need replacement?

The tip size is fixed and shown in the product images; it is not a replaceable part, so the whole adapter would be replaced if the tip fails.

What is the first limit reached when this charger runs continuously?

The built-in over-heat protection will activate before any other limit if the unit gets too hot during sustained use.

How much heat or noise does this 100-240 V adapter produce when left on all day?

It has no fan, so it runs silently; warmth is normal, and the over-heat protection will shut it down if ventilation is inadequate.
