Compatible Iomega Prestige Models

This ABLEGRID AC/DC adapter replaces the original power supply for Iomega Prestige hard drives numbered LDHDUP, LDHDUP2, 34305 and 34306. It delivers the required DC output through a barrel tip connector. The unit is a non-OEM replacement built to match the original specifications.

Worldwide Input and Protection Features

The adapter accepts AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz, making it suitable for global mains supplies. Built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection help safeguard the connected drive. The product carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications.

Simple Desktop Integration

The compact brick plugs directly into a wall outlet or power strip without a separate cable. Its barrel tip mates with the drive's power jack, freeing the user from hunting for a proprietary original charger. Keep the adapter in a ventilated area during extended use.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the barrel tip to the Iomega Prestige 34305 without damaging the port?

Align the barrel tip straight with the DC jack and push gently until seated; forcing it at an angle bends the centre pin and causes intermittent power.

What maintenance does the ABLEGRID adapter need over time?

Keep the vents clear of dust and operate in a dry, ventilated area; no internal battery or fan exists to service.

Which protection activates first during a long backup session?

Over-heat protection triggers before over-voltage protection if airflow is restricted during sustained load.
