Direct Replacement Adapter

The ABLEGRID AC DC adapter is built as a direct replacement for the Kentiger HY-502 amplifier. It supplies the required DC output from a 100-240V AC source, making it suitable for worldwide use. The unit includes over-voltage and over-heat protection for safe operation. A 1.5 metre cable and a free mains cord are included in the package.

Upgrades Worn Or Lost Originals

This adapter replaces a lost, damaged or ageing original power supply for the HY-502 digital audio player. The jump is worth it when the original unit no longer delivers stable voltage or the connector tip has worn loose. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications confirm compliance with international safety standards. Buyers who need a different voltage or tip polarity should verify specifications before ordering.

Fits Desktop Audio Setups

The adapter plugs directly into a standard mains socket and connects to the amplifier via the barrel connector shown in the product images. Its 1.5 metre lead allows flexible placement on a desk or shelf without stretching. The compact brick design keeps the power strip uncluttered. Users who require a longer cable run or a different connector type will need a separate solution.
