AC/DC adapter for KORG M50

This ABLEGRID charger replaces the original power supply for the KORG M50 music keyboard workstation. It accepts 100-240 V AC at 50-60 Hz for worldwide use and delivers DC output through a 1.5 m cable. The unit includes over-voltage and over-heat protection.

Input limits and connector fit

The adapter operates only within the stated 100-240 V AC range and 50-60 Hz frequency, so it cannot be used on supplies outside those limits. Polarity and tip dimensions must match the keyboard exactly; the product notes warn buyers to verify the DC output and connector size before ordering. No other voltage or frequency ratings are supported.

Installation and common issues

Connection is straightforward: plug the AC cord into a mains socket and the DC tip into the instrument. Problems usually arise when the tip size or polarity does not match the KORG M50, causing no power or potential damage. The instructions advise keeping the unit ventilated during extended use and stopping immediately if any abnormal behaviour occurs.

Questions about this item

Which ABLEGRID adapter version matches my KORG M50?

Choose the model listed for the KORG M50 workstation; the 1.5 m cord and DC tip shown in the photos must match your original supply.

What does the 100-240 V input mean when I plug it in at home?

The adapter accepts any mains voltage from 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz, so it works worldwide without a separate voltage switch.

What connector standard does the barrel tip use?

The DC barrel connector size is shown in the product photos; verify the tip diameter and polarity against your KORG M50 before ordering.
