Questions about this item

What is the maximum power draw the adapter can sustain before its over-voltage or over-heat protection activates?

The adapter delivers 12 V at 24 W; its built-in over-voltage and over-heat protection will trigger if sustained load exceeds that rating.

How much audible noise or heat does the adapter produce when run continuously?

No fan is present, so operation is silent; the unit warms to a moderate temperature under full 24 W load and relies on passive ventilation.

Which connector tip must the LaCie device already have for this adapter to fit?

The adapter uses a barrel tip; the LaCie WA-24K12R must accept the same barrel dimensions for a secure connection.
