Questions about this item

Will the barrel tip wear out and need replacing?

The barrel tip is a fixed connector; if it loosens or bends the whole adapter must be replaced.

What limits continuous operation first?

Over Heat Protection will shut the unit down if internal temperature rises too high.

How hot or noisy does it get running all day?

No fan is fitted so it runs silently; the case warms under load but Over Heat Protection prevents overheating.
